Publishing rules
Travel Chronicle · updated August 18, 2026
What you confirm when you publish
- The texts and photos are yours, or you hold the rights to publish them.
- The guide contains no one else's personal data — faces, documents, addresses, phone numbers or messages — without their permission.
- No sexual, violent, hateful or otherwise abusive content.
- Nothing illegal, and nothing that promotes illegal activity.
- No spam, no affiliate schemes, no misleading advertising.
- No content that infringes anyone else's rights.
How moderation works
Every guide is reviewed by a person before it becomes publicly visible. A guide that breaks these rules is rejected.
A published guide cannot be edited in place. To change it, delete the publication with its key and publish the trip again — the new version goes through review like any other.
Readers can report a published guide. Reports are reviewed by hand. A guide with several independent reports is hidden automatically until it is reviewed.
If your guide is rejected
You keep the trip in the app — rejection only affects the public copy. You can fix the problem and publish again, or delete the publication with its key.
Repeat violations
Publications that repeatedly break these rules may be removed and the publisher blocked from publishing.
